Depart Seaton Burn Services
Exit Ponteland via A696 and follow signs to Stamfordham via Dalton.
Approx 200 yards after Fenwick take right filter to go via Waterloo. (13 miles.)
Continue to A68 via Ryal. (21 miles.)
Follow A68 and turn left for signpost for Redesmouth and Bellingham.
At Bellingham take the road to Keilder.
Turn right at the Falstone sign and coffee stop. (42 miles.)
Continue past Keilder Village and turn right onto the B6357 at Saughtree.
Join the A6088 to go to Hawick via Bonchester Bridge.
Petrol stop at Morrisons, Hawick. (77 miles.)
Continue west through the town centre and take the left lane for the B6399 to Newcastleton (lunch stop). (97 miles.)
Head back up the B6399 and follow the signs for Hermitage Castle. Warning: Poor quality road in places. (110 miles.)
Continue to A7 and turn left to Langholm (petrol stop). (135 miles.)
Turn left onto A6071 to Brampton. (142 miles.)
At Brampton join the A69.
Turn off the A69 from Greenhead (coffee stop). (152 miles.)
Continue on the B6318 (Military Road) via Chollerford to the Stagshaw Roudabout. (174 miles)
